I undertook photography professionally over 30 years ago. I've worked on staff and free-lanced for newspapers, magazines, theatre companies and book publishers among others and my favorite work has always been in the arts community, especially music.

Alas, the corporate rat race seduced me away from my first love. Challenging business projects temporarily held my interest but eventually it became painfully evident: the corporate rats were just not any fun!

Portland, Maine, a truly enjoyable city with a lively and varied arts community, is home now but the pull of Austin is oh so strong. Having abandoned the race to the rats I've rediscovered the pleasures of photography, concentrating on authors, artists and musicians. My services include live performance, portrait, and promotional photographs for CDs, bookjackets, web sites, publications & promotions.
